The Ultimate facial is a full facial that combines cleansing and hydration to keep skin clear, fresh and well maintained. It is the most thorough of the three facials on our menu and the only one that includes a dedicated eye area treatment.
Where the Deluxe facial gives you a solid, efficient cleanse and the Aqua facial focuses on hydration, the Ultimate facial does both, then goes further with intensive extraction work and a finishing phase built around collagen support and long term skin condition. It is the treatment most men book when they want the full experience in one sitting, rather than working their way up over several visits.
The Ultimate Facial, Step by Step
Every Ultimate facial follows four phases in order. Each one has a specific job to do, and together they take the skin from a tired, congested state through to a genuinely refreshed finish. Here is exactly what happens.
Phase 1: Prep
Techniques used: Steamer, face cleanse, warm press
Your treatment begins with a gentle steam infusion to soften the skin, followed by a thorough cleanse. A warm, comforting compress enhances circulation and opens the pores, creating the right foundation for everything that follows.
Phase 2: Extract
Techniques used: Water dermabrasion, diamond dermabrasion, scraper, clay mask
This is the intensive refinement stage of the Ultimate facial, and it is the main reason this treatment goes further than Deluxe or Aqua. Water dermabrasion gently flushes away impurities, while diamond dermabrasion polishes the complexion to a smooth, more even finish. Expert extractions and a clay mask work together to detoxify and rebalance the skin, leaving it visibly clearer and more refined.
Phase 3: Hydrate
Techniques used: Oxygen infusion, hydration therapy, radiofrequency eye therapy
Your skin is replenished through an oxygen rich infusion and advanced moisture therapy. To finish this phase, radiofrequency eye therapy is used around the delicate eye contour to support a lifted, brighter looking finish. What Happens Before Your Ultimate Facial?
Facials at Alpha Laser Clinic do not require a separate pre-booked consultation the way our laser treatments do. There is no patch test either, a facial does not carry the same skin reaction risk that laser hair removal can, so that extra step simply is not needed for this treatment.
Instead, your practitioner assesses your skin properly at the start of the appointment itself. They will look at your skin type, any congestion, sensitivity, or areas that need particular attention, and talk through your Ultimate facial before starting the four phases. If you have any relevant skin conditions, recent treatments, or products you are using regularly, mention them at this point so the session can be adjusted for you. This is one of the reasons we recommend a fully qualified practitioner runs every facial, so the treatment plan for the day is genuinely built around your skin rather than applied the same way for everyone.
Aftercare After Your Ultimate Facial
Because the Ultimate facial includes more intensive extraction and dermabrasion work than our other two facials, aftercare matters a little more here. It is common for skin to look slightly flushed or pink straight after the extraction phase, this is a normal response and it typically settles within a few hours.
For the first day or two after your Ultimate facial, keep your skincare routine simple. Use a gentle cleanser and a fragrance free moisturiser, and avoid harsh actives such as strong exfoliants, retinol or acid based products until your skin has settled. Sun protection matters more than usual straight after a facial, so apply SPF daily, particularly if you are heading out shortly after your appointment. Avoid saunas, steam rooms and very hot showers on the day itself, as heat can aggravate freshly treated skin.

The Ultimate facial is booked as a 1 hour 30 minute appointment, which covers all four phases, prep, extract, hydrate and nourish, plus your skin assessment at the start. Some sessions run slightly longer if your skin needs a bit more attention in the extraction phase, so it is worth allowing a little extra time either side.

You do not need previous facial experience to book the Ultimate facial, your practitioner will assess your skin at the start regardless. That said, if you are unsure how your skin will respond to extraction and dermabrasion work, some men prefer to try the Deluxe facial or Aqua facial first and step up to Ultimate on a later visit.
No special preparation is required. Turning up with a clean face is helpful but not essential, as the prep phase includes a full cleanse anyway. Avoid booking straight after heavy sun exposure or a fresh chemical peel elsewhere, and mention either of these to your practitioner if relevant.
